morning two - mom update

Dr just made rounds.
Blood sugar 220.
heart enzyme level down to 1.8 from 1.96!
Ordered CT to check to see the cause of severe back pain; the reason she originally went to the ER.
Ordered Echo.
Fever down to 101.6.
On three antibiotics; insulin drip; norepinephrine drip.
Still heavily sedated obviously.
Getting ready to back off the propofol and switch to a less abrasive sedation....mom may wake during the switch but the nurse has assured me that they will not allow her to wake enough for her to be aware of her surroundings.
Dr said that he hopes to see her stabilize within a few days.
