Day six morning update and surgery

We are heading home to catch our breath before heading back to the hospital.mom is scheduled for surgery this afternoon to remove the abscess.
According to the neurologist, although she is critical, they have to proceed with surgery as quickly as possible.
They turned the sedation back on and added in another antibiotic to cover MRSA; which they suspect may be in the abscess.
