Universal Studios - That's a Wrap!

Day 4
December 29, 2010

I found us a cozy little out of the way place to take a break and have some lunch.
The weather was mild enough that we could finally shed two layers of clothing, so it was nice to sit outside and people watch...!
Our cozy little spot was right outside the building where Grinch was signing autographs and posing for pictures - we had a direct view of all of the hype!
We were tucked away from the crowds, so I let Addie stretch her legs for a few minutes.

We never tire of lovins'!
Right behind us was the gate where the characters came out.
We were sitting and chatting and the next thing we knew The Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2 came by!

It had a 140 minute wait time - we literally walked right on - no wait.
It was still way too cold for any of the water rides, so we sat out and watched everyone else get drenched!
Walking around in wet shoes in 50 degree weather was not even the least bit appealing to me, but that classified me as a whiny baby britches.
At least I was a dry whiny baby britches!
The temperature dropped fast as night approached, but we toughed it out...knowing it would be a while - if we ever went back.
As with anything in life, the experience was what we made of it.
The crowds were atrocious, the people were rude, but we still managed to enjoy ourselves.

Celebrating Nine Years!

My sweet girl had a very busy day! We spent the day by having lunch at one of Addie's favorite restaurants, then I took her s...
