Grab a tissue, a napkin, the back of your hand

or the inside of your shirt (I won't tell)...I witnessed a MIRACLE tonight and just so happened to be taking pictures while it unfolded!

Monkey was crawling around the house with her duck stuck firmly in her little mouth. I was tidying up the kitchen and she was playing on the floor. She was a little reserved (so I thought) because she got a boo-boo on her face earlier. Chris went out to the sun porch and Monkey wanted to follow. The door must have hit her in the face when she was trying to keep it from shutting. Notice the boo-boo on her right cheek.
Monkey likes to play around the dishwasher and I usually don't mind as long as there are no dishes inside. She crawled over and pulled up on the side, I grabbed the camera for a photo op with the duck and as I was snapping pictures...our miracle took place.

Monkey, my Monkey, climbed up onto the door of the dishwasher! My Monkey, the one who would "never walk, never talk and never function as a normal child", climbed onto a door.

Do you realize what you see? This is our God at work!
I couldn't believe how lucky I was to have camera in hand...but I don't really believe it was luck. I believe that it is my duty to show the world how our God is working through Monkey. We have a story to share and I can only pray that I am following the path that our God chose for me.
Monkey has been trying to climb for a while now. This is a milestone met! I hope she understood my excitement and understood when I told her how proud I was of her! I hope Monkey understood my pure joy and I hope Monkey understood the miracle that she just helped to create.

Do you see the miracle?

So the name "Monkey" fits her in more ways than one. ANOTHER milestone met, way to go Sweet Girl. Monkey takes my breath away daily, I always have a tissue handy. I'm continuously blessed (touched) by that ANGEL! I love you baby girl. I'm so proud of you & all of your accomplishments!

XOXOXO

She is amazing and truly a blessing. I can't imagine how you felt seeing her do that. She truly is a monkey, the little climber. I love you all.

P.S. I used the back of my hand.
