and she didn't even cry!

Not that I'm complaining, but my little Monkey child never cries when she gets hurt.
It is not necessarily a bad thing, but if she doesn't cry, sometimes I don't know that she is hurt!
We were watching Julien's football practice tonight when Monkey decided she wanted to walk around and show off her new skills to one of the other Mom's.
Monkey was doing a fabulous job, but at one point she lost her balance and fell down.
She reached her hands up to me wanting me to pick her up - like she does every time she falls.
I gave her a kiss, a great big hug and took her to the car to change her pull up.
When I laid her down on the seat, I realized she had blood all over her pants and then saw this!(Check out how she is holding her pants leg up for me to take the picture!)
After a nice warm shower, we got her knee all cleaned up.
Now she will spend the next few days showing anyone who will pay her a bit of attention her new boo-boo band-aids!

Awe...poor little thing! She's a tough cookie! She's just so proud to be walking, she doesn't want to make it a big deal when she falls! :)

Ahh, the battle scars of a TYPICAL child doing a TYPICAL thing. What a big girl. Bring on the boo-boo band aids for this little trooper!!
