After lunch in the barn,
came the hayride.
Mrs. Anita brought along a baby for Addie and the baby fit right in.
The kids were just thrilled when a ladybug was discovered!
Addie was just as curious as the boys...
and didn't hesitate to reach over and try to pick it up.
Tragedy was temporarily avoided.
Yet, she just couldn't help herself
and had to touch it!
Uh-oh!
The ladybug sacrificed itself in the name of science.
Show and tell was definitely over at that point.
