A Few of my Favorite Veterans

My Dad

I'm sure my Mom or brothers have more pictures of my Dad...and more details about how he served our Country.
Instead of bugging them this late at night, my favorite picture of my Dad and me will have to suffice.

My Brother
in
Vietnam

Forever my hero.
He makes me proud beyond words.

My other Brother
in Germany

The best tank driver gunner the Army has ever produced.

An hour before leaving for Bosnia.

Upon returning from Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
He is one of the most compassionate men I know
and he dedicated
ten years of his life
to the military and our Country.

I am so honored to have him as my brother.

There are so many more that I could name.
So many who are dear to my heart and so many who are deserving of recognition.
Although not named specifically, I am thinking of you today
and so very thankful
for all you have given of yourself so that we can enjoy the freedom that we currently have today.

Thank you - to each and every one of you.

Very nice post, Jennifer. Thanks.

Oh, and a correction to your post. That would be the best gunner. I was a gunner for most of my career. I was only a driver for less than 3 months. I was bored as a driver and preferred to be in the turret where all of the action was.

You should know by now that I truly take pride in being wrong on a consistent basis. Yet, you love me anyway.

Yes I do.
