Mom got the results of the MRI this afternoon and the infection has NOT spread to the bone.
That is awesome, fabulous, wonderful news!
(and if you happen to work with me and heard what sounded like a "woo-hoo, yay, that's awesome" from a drunk girl at a rodeo at around 4:00ish this afternoon - that wasn't me).
SO, the doctor (with zero sense of humor) was pleased as punch that the infection is not in the bone, but still didn't dish out any warm and fuzzy words of wisdom to help us get the least bit hopeful about recovery.
Ahem.
She'll get there - it's just going to take a while.
