was rather labor intensive.
We had a very busy weekend, but stayed close to home.
Sunday, we finally made a trek that we last took prior to Addie.
It was super hot out, as is evident in Addie's red face and droopy pig tails.
However, it wasn't the heat that slowed us down, it was safely navigating the terrain with Addie.
Addie loves being outdoors and never complains about the challenges in front of her.
There were areas where Chris or I had to carry her, but after crossing over the bridge to Peavine Falls, Addie held onto my hands and walked in front of me.
It was a lot of hard work and it wasn't until we were ready to leave the falls that Addie said she was "sleepy".
She was such a trooper.
Not only was it physically exhausting for her, but the heat really made her miserable.
Despite it all, I know that she would try it again...
but we will definitely wait for cooler weather.

On the way out, we stopped at the animal hospital.
Not a good decision.
Addie was so worried about all the little animals, so we decided to call it a day.
We are so proud of our Little Monkey for her hard work and determination!
