Happy Birthday Olivia!

Unfortunately, we arrived late to Olivia's Party due to the time conflict with the fundraiser. Olivia had a party that was packed with sweet friends, food, cake and presents.

Did I say presents?

I'm not sure that I have ever seen quite so many presents before!

Addie had such a good time with her friends and we were more than honored to be a part of this very special day!

Thank you Olivia (Katherine and Mims) for sharing this day with us and Happy Birthday!

Addie was content to mow the carpet and play with her friends after stuffing herself full of cheese puffs and macaroni and cheese.

Take note of that little yellow lab in Addie's hand...story to follow.

Breakfast "with" Santa

Our breakfast "with" Santa benefited The Bell Center.

We will always be thankful for the services that were available to us when Addie was only two weeks old.

It is too bad that there are not more places like The Bell Center within our communities.

Oh, and the outfits...just adorable!

We stood back, holding a Monkey that was screaming, shaking and crying as we watched our dear friends place their beautiful children on the lap of this gentle looking man who holds so much magic in the eyes of children. Then there is the little Monkey who was quite certain that this gentle looking man eats small children for breakfast.

Monkey did fairly well the first time Santa walked past our table.

She waved bye-bye to him and was happy to see him go.

The second time Santa walked by our table, Monkey hit meltdown and there was no turning back.

Chris had to take Monkey out for a walk in order to calm her down just enough so that the other guests at the fundraiser could eat in peace.

What is it that I keep telling myself?

Oh yes...it's either laugh or cry, so I choose to laugh, so much easier on the mascara.

We obviously do very well at disturbing the peace, so if anyone is looking for a way to liven up a boring Christmas event or needs a child who will take the focus off of your whiny toddler, just let us know.

We guarantee to make you feel that your children are the most well-behaved children at your next social event!

Only slightly more frequently than Halley's Comet

Down in the Southern United States, our encounter with snow is fairly few and far between.

To our delight, we were able to witness a dusting of snow as we turned into The Summit for a very early morning fundraiser that we attended with friends.

This very well could be our one and only encounter with snow this winter.

For my friends in the North, stop shaking your heads in disgust as you start the process of shoveling out from under eight feet of snow...for the next five months.

We are just so proud that we can now walk across a parking lot without breaking a sweat!

Not a bad way to start the season!

Game one - we took the game with a 35-5 win.
Game two - we took the game with a 24-18 (or something close to that) win.
I have been a very bad Mom and have forgotten my camera both games.
