***Answer***

You guys made my heart just ache!

You guessed such great guesses. Everyone but one person was way ahead of us on the milestones... I should have given the hint that this was not a "serious" milestone.

Maybe these two pictures will help with the visual a little bit better.

Lennie was the closest and for the people that emailed me or called me directly trying to CHEAT, your guesses didn't count! :)

Monkey was caught trying to pull her pants and diaper off! Can you imagine the thought process behind this? Monkey had to know that she wanted her diaper off and put enough thought into how to make that happen and then do it! Do you see how exciting this is??? She is reasoning through steps for problem solving! This is awesome!

I will go ahead and admit, she gets this from her Mommy. Pictures in my baby album prove that I was a little nudist as a toddler...

***Trivia time***

Can anyone tell me what milestone Monkey is meeting in this photo? I took this last night and was thrilled! This is tougher to decipher than you might think! I missed THE picture by a few seconds. By the time I grabbed the camera, I had missed it.

I'll post the answer tomorrow night.

Please forgive me for the watermelon stained pants. We just finished with dinner and I was trying to clean up when this milestone started to unfold.

Anyone...anyone? Bueller?

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with these pictures?

No, they are not scenes from the new Amityville Horror Movie...oh no...they are pictures of my office tonight. Those blue lines you see...uh huh, that's tape and that red goo randomly smeared on the wall....uh, huh, that's primer. Oh wait...look closer, do you see any paint the color of Merlot on the walls? No? Me neither.
Errrr!!!!!
On the positive side. Julien did an excellent job helping me paint the cabinet and the kids bathroom is completely primed and is waiting for the final coat of paint. We're saving thousands of dollars, I know. My house is a wreck, but my husband did hook my computer back up tonight so that I could post these beautiful photos and tell you all how wonderful he is for starting to paint my office, while he is recouping from a very nasty cold (blah!) and a hurt knee. I think he's searching for some brownie points...

Public records

I am completely fascinated/disgusted at the amount of information that can be found through a public records search. Really, there needs to be a HIPAA in the world of public records.

So, here is a warning for you. If you are paroozing through the local Shelby County Reporter a few weeks from now, you may run across a listing under "Divorces" with Chris and my name listed. Please don't be surprised, because I am giving you fair warning.

Why, you may ask? Infidelity, abuse, embezzlement, inability to cohabitate? No, no, no and no.

Chris and I took the day off work tomorrow because Julien is out of school and we have decided to paint two rooms in our house. If we make it through the day without filing for divorce, I will be shocked.

We built a house before we were married and I am surprised we made it to the alter, we finished the basement in that house when I was pregnant with Monkey and then built our second house after Monkey was born...how we are still together, I have no idea. Painting though...it's a whole other test to the bonds of marriage. I feel like it should take a couple of hours to paint one room, Chris feels like it should take all day and that's the problem. We only have ONE day to finish it. This day has to encompass my disgust with the paint colors, the fact that it actually takes more than one coat of paint and oh dear the demons that will come forward if paint is actually spilled on the floor. Not only that, I have assigned Julien the job of painting two cabinet doors for me...oh, I think I feel an eye twitch coming on!

May luck be on our side tomorrow. If luck doesn't come our way, you will know why we are headed to divorce court.

Dear God...

Please hear my prayers...continue to heal me, bless me and help me to grow, allow me to continue to learn each and every day. Allow me to continue to show this world your amazing powers and your miracles that you are working through me. Please allow me to remain seizure free and please help people to understand me and love me. Dear God, please hear my prayers and bless me.
Amen
