How a diagnosis of Microcephaly changed the lives of so many people.
Not feeling any better...
I had to take Addie back to the doctor yesterday morning. Instead of getting better, she seems to be getting worse. The nurse's were concerned when they took Addie's stats because her oxygen level was low. Dr. Glasgow (the on-call physician) immediately came in and after examining Addie, told me that although her oxygen level was low, it wasn't low enough that he would be concerned about her turning blue in the middle of the night... geez, that was comforting! The blood work indicated that her white blood count was a little high, but there wasn't anything that we could do at this point but wait it out (go figure). Despite her illness, chunkus has managed to keep her appetite up... she's now up to 15 pounds, 1 ounce!
