Really tough work!
I know sometimes people don't realize just how hard Addie works! It is very tough for her to develop the skills that come so naturally to other babies. Look at her, she is trying so hard to walk! My goal is to have her walking before she is 17-months. Heather is pushing Addie to meet this goal and we are trying everything within our powers to make this happen. Please continue to pray for Addie. It hurts to see her struggle.

THIS is why we entered The Mercedes Marathon. Here is Addie, Trenton and Tucker at circle time today.
Addie wasn't paying attention towards the end of circle time and instead of making her turn around and pay attention, Heather just let her continue with what she was doing. The reason? Look at how Addie is turned around and propped up on her hands! This took months of therapy!

Bringing home a baby bumblebee...
Yes, we all know the words to that song! Addie has heard that song several times a week since she was an infant and this afternoon, she finally started doing one of the signs from the song! I was ecstatic and couldn't believe what I was seeing! On the way home this afternoon, we were listening to Addie's favorite CD (of course this is the only way we have peace in the car) and the bumblebee song for the third time. I was turned around signing the song to Addie and when it began again, I told her to "catch her bumblebee" and SHE DID IT!!! She brought her hands together and held them, like we "hold the bee". I can't describe the joy this brings me! Any little step forward we take is truly a miracle! My constant prayer is for continued development and I saw more of it today!

No such luck!
Well, I had ONE good night of sleep in 13-months. Addie had me up several times last night; which is fine. She is so sweet. She just wants to be snuggled and kissed and then she goes right back to sleep...I have no complaints!
It took 13-months...
It took 13-months, but Addie finally slept through the night last night! I am not getting my hopes up...I am sure it was just a fluke!
Trey's First Birthday Party!
We enjoyed participating in the celebration of Trey's First Birthday today! Addie and Trey are in the same class at school and have lots of fun together!
