Lots of hard work...

I'm helping Addie to play in a kneeling position, which will encourage her to start doing this on her own. She's not there yet, but she has stopped fussing when we do this exercise...we're making progress!

Permanently attached???

Tooth number four!

Addie's front left tooth broke through today! She now has her two bottom teeth, her left "vampire" tooth and her left front tooth. Too cute...

Holding on...

I gave Addie the red and orange link that she has in her hand while she was taking a bath. I took it out of her hand at one point to wash her hand and she started crying. I rinsed her hand off, gave it back to her and life was good again. She continued holding on to the link throughout her bath, while getting dressed (with a little switch-a-roo from hand to hand), while being fed and during her little cat nap. She woke up and refused to let go of it while she was playing and while we were outside with the boys. We came in for more play time, diaper changes and cuddle time...all the while the death grip remained. I'm not real sure what the fascination was all about, but it made for cute pictures!

Happy Eight-Month Birthday Addie!

My precious baby is eight-months today!

Daycare called this morning to tell me that Addie was inconsolable and not herself. I immediately went to check on her. When I got to her, she was just miserable! I think her teeth are giving her a really hard time. I calmed her down, gave her some medicine and fed her lunch. By the time I left, she was sitting on the floor playing and smiling! She just needed some Mommy time...!
