Here they are...

Monkey got her new braces today.
:(
It is going to take a while to get use to them...for her and me.

Always a good little cheerleader!

Monkey watches Julien's every move and is always cheering him on! Not even a stinky, hot gymnasium could take her focus off of her brother!

Not a bad start to the basketball season!
We had our first game tonight and the boys did a great job! The opposing team kept the boys on their toes, but we still managed to walk away with a victory!

We know what we heard

We heard IT, we did...but don't have it on video to prove it.

Julien said the blessing tonight before dinner and did a great job, I may add. He finished and we ALL said Amen.

My precious angel, sent straight from heaven, said it...Amen.

Dear God,
Thank you for this blessing, this gift, this miracle. Thank you for your continued healing powers and for each moment we have with our beautiful angel.
Amen.

Bad, bad Santa

Ah, the holidays...the stress, the binging, the swipe, swipe, swiping of our debit cards, the mean, horrible Santa's...

Huh?

Oh yes. Monkey's class has pictures tomorrow with Santa. Since we will be at therapy, I asked if she could go to see Santa today. I got a phone call from her teacher around 9:30 this morning advising me that things didn't go too well. Apparently, Monkey thought Santa was the anti-Christ and refused to go anywhere near him!

At least we didn't spend an hour in line at the mall waiting to end up with nothing but a melt down. So, no Santa pictures this year.... sigh.

Did you hear us screaming???

SHA-BAM BABY!
Our first playoff game of the season was a complete nail biter!
At the end of the game, we were tied so into over time we went. We scored, got the two point conversion and then the ball went to the other team. They scored, which left us anxiously rooting the boys on, crossing our fingers and yelling at the top of our lungs. The other team decided to pass to try and make the two point conversion to tie us up again...and missed the pass.
We took the game with a 40-38 win! We continue on to the second game of the playoffs on Sunday!
WOO-HOO! Go Titans!

In progress!

Ever so slowly, it is starting to look a lot like Christmas around our house...

Celebrating Nine Years!
