Just us - there’s a little of the before, but mostly it’s the after...

Poor Mommy

I have been really sick and nauseous with our little baby.

It seems to be the worst early in the morning and in the evening.

I do have a few good hours each day that I can function though.

So far it has been rough, but it will pass soon (hopefully).

I don't mind going through all of this because I know what a precious gift I will be rewarded with in the end.

Only 7 months to go.

Check-up

Today we went for our check-up and Dr. Ingram says that we are doing great!

I am 8 weeks 4 days.

Our visits are pretty routine for now - weigh-ins (oh so fun), blood pressure checks and the usual blood work.

Our next appointment is July 12th.

Growing Bellies

I am 8 weeks in these pictures and Kelly is 22 1/2 weeks.

Noccalula Falls

Our first trip as a family of four.

I am about 7 weeks pregnant in this picture.

Chris and Julien had a great time, but I wasn't doing so well because the unbearable heat was making the nausea even worse than normal.

I was a trooper and found a nice comfortable rocking chair to settle into while Chris and Julien played putt-putt, then I managed to follow them around as they checked out the wildlife and the scenery.

First Sonogram

Today we had our first sonogram to see just how far along I am .

I am 6 1/2 weeks and my due date is January 14, 2007.

The baby's heart rate is 143 BPM.

Chris couldn't believe how big Baby Blob's heart is already.

Everything looks great so far and we are all so thrilled!
