Happy New Year!

Here is my New Years Chicken. I found him while we were out and about on Addie's Birthday and none of us were willing to leave the store without him. :)

I almost didn't write a New Years post because there was so much that I wanted to say and I could see it turning into a novel. I decided to forgo my novel and just give a few snippets.

2008 was an amazing year for our family. We were blessed with more than we could have ever hoped for.

During the year, Julien continued to grow into a loving, intelligent, kind little boy and is the best son and big brother that anyone could ever ask for.

Addie starting crawling, she continued to develop her language skills and she started to walk with the help of a walker.

Chris and I bought a house in the neighborhood that we wanted so much to be in. We are blessed to have great jobs at a great company. We are blessed to have each other and we are blessed for all that we have.

We have everything in life that we could want and two amazing children. I pray that 2009 provides us with more blessings. I also pray that 2009 provides us many opportunities to tell Addie's story. I know that Addie's purpose in life (outside of our home) is to bring joy to others, to educate people on special needs children and to tell anyone and everyone the miracles of our God and the blessings that HE continues to provide to our family.

Thank you all for the support and love that you have shown to our family. May you continue on this journey with us and may God bless you.
